June 6, 2024, Handan, Hebei - After 18 months of unremitting efforts and careful construction, Hebei Hongyuan Hydraulic Machinery Co., Ltd. has finally succeeded in igniting and opening the No.2 Blast Furnace in the new area of Handan Steel, marking Handan Steel's significant progress in the Blast Furnace Renovation Project.

Since December 2022, Hebei Hongyuan Hydraulic Machinery Co., Ltd. has undertaken the protective demolition of several hydraulic systems of No.8 blast furnace in the old area of Handan Steel, including the hot blast furnace hydraulic system, the hydraulic system under the groove, the hydraulic system in front of the furnace, the hydraulic system at the top of the furnace as well as the cooling control system. During the dismantling process, the company strictly followed the safety operation procedures to ensure the safety and quality of every step.

After the dismantling was completed, the company quickly entered into the phase of utilizing and repairing. In order to fully utilize the original resources, the technical team carried out a comprehensive inspection and repair of the dismantled equipment. After many debugging and optimization, the repaired equipment has stable performance and reached the expected technical index.

During the installation process, the company's team overcame many technical difficulties and accurately installed each piece of equipment to ensure seamless system integration. In the debugging stage, the technicians worked day and night, through continuous adjustment and optimization, and finally made each system reach the best running state.
